Don’t EVEN make me explain why you should take a look at this excellent online publication.  Just do it.  Trust me, OK?

No, it’s not written specifically for the VO industry.  It’s more designed for audiophiles, musicians, audio engineers, studio engineers and the like.  But SO MUCH of what’s on these pages comes very close to the equipment, editing and recording issues that we wrestle with every day.  For instance, in this edition, an article titles:  “New Tools and Techniques for Mix Mastery”.

All that, and  the fact that this is one of the slickest online graphical interfaces on the web today.

EQ Mag is designed for studio engineers, musicians, audiophiles, tech-geeks, and singers, yes, but it’s also got loads of stuff we voice-actors can use.

The articles are top-notch, and as I’ve said before, even the ads are worth a look-see.  They’ve always got mic evaluations, and usually tutorials for using sound editing software.  This month is no exception.

   ‘Just back from 10 days vacation, and you’d think I was gone for a month the way people are wondering where I’ve been.  V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N…. that means you unplug from your usual duties and have some downtime.  SHEESH!!!

Oh, and thanks for asking…yes, I had a great time.

Now that I’m back, I face a 10-foot pile of responsibilities…but now I’m renewed in my energy to tackle it.
