Honestly, you need your own studio to make it in the VO world of today.
So…that means you need to set aside some space, some equipment, a computer, some software and a mic. A guy/gal could get carried away with all that…or not. To some it’s daunting. Others never stop…acquiring and buying and building and hoarding and never getting around to the work of voicing.
Well, it’s NOT hard, it SHOULDN’T have to be expensive, and it DOESN’T have to be complex.
Dan Lenard could tell you that. He could tell you that better than anybody. He does, and he will.
“The Home Studio Master” is hosting East Coast and West Coast seminars. If this is a challenge for you, you couldn’t find a better coach. Below is the ad…the links are not clickable. But as you can see the East-Coast workshop is sponsored by VoiceOverXtra, and the West Coast workshop is at the SAG Foundation’s Don LaFontaine Voice Over Lab, and features the able partnership of George Whittam and his Eldorado Recording Services.
