Cloud Drive

5 Gigs seems so paltry these days, but hey…5 GB is 5 GB, and if you need it, and it’s free, and you can access it from any computer anywhere, it might just come in handy.

Uploading demos, auditions, or finished files could make this an easy solution for you and your clients.

Hi Dave. From what I’m reading in their FAQ’s, they don’t seem to support the uploading of .mp3s just yet. Though they say that will come in a future version. Have you tried http://www.dropbox.com ? You can also share folders specifically with clients who would then have no access to any of your other files. I actually use DropBox for passing files back and forth between myself and my audio editor during long e-learning projects. I really love it. It seems like the two services run on the same principle – though for free, you get a little less space on DropBox than you do on Cloud Drive.

  2. I just love your writing style. Will you consider writing for my blog as a guest writer?
