The sad part about being in TV news for me is that I’ve never had my birthday off.  November is probably the most important ratings month of the year, so unless you’re coughing up blood or have a leg amputation scheduled, you’d better be at your place on the anchor desk.

I AM giving myself a day off from blogging, though.
