Copy Catting?

Thanks to my fellow Vegas VO friend Garry O’Neal for this tip. It was posted in an online forum for Voice Over artists

Two sites, really, and neither of them have a whole lot to do with VO directly, but they may be handy for you bloggers…or people who like to keep track of where their content ends up.

CopyScape helps you defend your site against plagiarism.

The WayBack Machine is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form.

A brief discussion flared-up on the forum after Garry’s post about whether ANY content can be protected anymore, and even IF you were to pursue a lawsuit against the alleged offenders, whether it would be worth the investment, as many of the accused are not worth “two nickels to rub together”.

I’ll not weigh in one way or the other, but I’ll be checking out these sites just for the sheer geekiness of what they offer.
