Voices
For my money, Voices.com continues to surge ahead of all the rest in the online voiceover subscription sites.

…and they're doing it through a wonderful mix of Web2.0 New Media Marketing, and good old-fashioned customer service.

The Ciccarelli's seem to be everywhere…understanding and sometimes setting the trends in voice acting.  They upgraded their website, and sure, there were a few user-UNfriendly glitches at first, but you got the feeling they really cared, and were only working to implement important changes after listening to their subscribers.

Their staff is very responsive on an individual basis (even when you ask dumb questions, which, ahem… of course, I have NEVER done)… and bottom line: voice-actors are finding work, and talent-seekers are finding the answers to their needs. The entire online interaction seems to be achieved respectfully, seamlessly, and with style.

This is the way it should be done.  No?

Now, Voices is adding value for it's voice talent clients by offering more opportunities within a unique partnership between VoodooVox and Voices.  If you didn't get this e-mail, please see the verbatim below.

We're pleased to announce that Voices.com has partnered with VoodooVox
to bring even more opportunities to the voice over marketplace.

What's going on and who is VoodooVox?

VoodooVox In-Call Media has hundreds of voice over jobs that they need
filled each and every month for in-call advertising.  They have chosen
to partner with Voices.com to meet their needs.

We've set up a special portal where you can learn more about this here: http://www.voices.com/voodoovox

Apply Now to be Qualified

Our teams have worked together to seamlessly integrate our
technologies.  Advertisers at VoodooVox will select Voices.com talent
to record their ads.  If you are selected for one of these
opportunities it will appear as a private job offer in your Voices.com
account.

While the technology allows for everyone at Voices.com to be
considered, VoodooVox has a special program that we are inviting
members at Voices.com to apply for.  If you are chosen, you'll be part
of a certified list of professionals as selected and recommended by
VoodooVox that will be presented to their customers via a special
search filter.

What's Needed?

To become certified for this new service, you will have to produce and
submit a sample audio ad.  You have your choice of producing one of two
spots (Williamstown Tire or Windham Mountain Ski Resort) detailed below.

In both cases, you are provided key talking points, but you’ll have to turn these key talking points into a final script and then produce the spots.

NOTE: please produce your audio in your FIRST language.  For example,
if you are primarily used as a Spanish voice talent, please translate
and record in Spanish.

Audio production standards for all submissions can be found here: http://www.voices.com/voodoovox/in-call-audio-production-standards.html

More background on this new service can be found on here: www.voices.com/voodoovox

Should you have any questions, you are welcome to contact VoodooVox through our portal linked above or at rap@voodoovox.com

Best wishes,

Stephanie Ciccarelli
