…in the oddest places….
During a planned sailing excursion on Lake Tahoe — all part of a well-needed R & R visit to a friend's cabin in nearby Truckee, CA — we ran into an embarrassing situation for the captain of the ship.
NO WIND!….whatsoever.
Undeterred…he fired up the engine, hoisted the sale anyway, and served the wine with gusto!
Since we had time to waste, I struck up a conversation with the man at the helm, who — it turns out — just happens to be married to one of Reno's best Voice-Actors — Pam Farris.
All of the sudden nothing about the trip seemed wasted.
