VOIP, SKYPE, and SaVoa

SaVoa…the ‘Society of Accredited Voice Over Artists’ has issued a questionnaire to its members surveying their current use of ISDN, VoIP, and interest in bridging services.  It’s great to see SaVoa so actively seeking solutions for its members as a sort of bargaining group.

Perhaps the most encouraging of those questions is the following:

"If you don’t have ISDN or VOIP would you
consider VOIP if SaVoa could establish a bridge network for SaVoa Guild Members
and find a product that can be discounted to guild members."

BTW, I hope Ed Gambill doesn’t mind that I’m posting this blog about the survey.  Ed and the fine board that stands behind him are certainly the prescient voice-actors who launched this effort back in ’07, and I would do nothing to compromise their work.

At any rate, I hope the surveys come back thick and fast, and lead to some positive feedback for SaVoa.  (disclaimer:  I’m SaVoa member #07041)
