We Voice-Artists love our equipment. You’ll find endless blogs, articles and posts on the finer points of this microphone or that…this compressor/expander or that…and so forth.
Recently, I found this post on the VO-BB, concerning a new kind of microphone mount (or maybe it’s just new to me). Click here for the website for the M600.
One of the VO-BB subscribers noted that VegasProAudio was an authorized dealer the the M600 here in the United States. Hey! I live in Las Vegas! My intent was to just go down to VegasProAudio and put some eyeballs on this thing…you know…talk to the people who market this thing.
With my busy schedule, I didn’t get the chance to do that…but I did get a very nice e-mail today from the Marketing Manager at VegasProAudio. He’d tracked-back some visits to his website from the VO-BB, and presumably because I live here, he contacted me about the M600.
Bottom line: I’m going to stop by their warehouse and "borrow" the mic mount for evaluation. I promised to post my observations here on my blog and on the VO-BB.
Sure, it’s a small thing with a big price ($225 USD)…but it may be just the link in your audio chain that would make the difference.
Check back here in a few days for the latest on the M600 — or EVERYDAY for the best a VO blog has to offer.
